Lindsey Dixon was never one for wasting time.
Even as a young girl she always strived to move ahead. So completing her Bachelor's degree in two years seemed natural to her.
To the rest of us it seems like quite an achievement. Lindsey (D'Evelyn High School Class of 2004), completed her Bachelor of Science in psychology at Colorado State University last May.
But she didn't just study. While attending CSU Lindsey was a a member of CSU's Presidential Forum for Emerging Leaders and Psi Chi National Psychology Honor Society.
She was a CSU Student Ambassador for the Dean's Office, and a manager and lifeguard at the CSU Recreation Center. Lindsey plans to get some real-world experience working in her chosen field of psychology and criminal law this fall after a summer of managing a large pool inFort Collins, and serving as an advisor to incoming students as part of the CSU Alumni Ambassador Program.
In the fall of 2007 she plans to begin work on her Masters in Forensic Psychology. Congratulations on your achievement Lindsey. As William Blake said "No bird soars too high if he soars with his own wings."
