"In response to recent court rulings against the public
display of the Ten Commandments and the continual assault of a
secular humanist agenda against traditional values, the
Ten Commandments Commission has been created to restore
and maintain the moral principles of the Judeo-Christian tradition
in our nation and society."

website of the Ten Commandments Commission (

Celebrations will be held across the country on May 7, 2006,
to bring the Ten Commandments to the attention of the American
people and their political leaders.
Here in Golden, the inter-denominational celebration will
begin on Friday afternoon and run throughout the weekend.
Programming generated by Three Angels Broadcasting Network, a
Christian television network that broadcasts worldwide from
Thompsonville, IL, will be downlinked to the Seventh-day Adventist
Church's gymnasium at 3101 S. Golden Road, from rallies in
Washington, D.C., Sacramento, CA, New York City, Florida and the
Dominican Republic. In addition to being able to view the live
downlinked programming, participants can participate in prayer,
Bible Study and Children's Activities.
Anyone who pre-registers will receive a free 128-page book
called
Ten Commandments Twice
Removed, authored by
Danny Shelton and
Shelley Quinn of 3ABN.
Presentations will discuss the Ten Commandments as a covenant
between God and Mankind, as well as dealing with each of the
commandments individually. In keeping with Biblical teaching,
enforcement of the first four commandments by government will be
discouraged in favor of Christians seeking that God place the Ten
Commandments in their hearts on an individual basis.
Presenters will include the internationally known speaker
Doug Batchelor of Amazing
Facts,
David Asscherick of
Arise,
Wintley Phipps of U.S.
Dream Academy, (better known for his phenomenal singing voice but a
dynamic speaker as well), and
Robert Gentry, a scientist
who was an evolutionist until he discovered polonium halos, a
phenomenon that proves that the granite foundation of the earth
solidified in a few minutes, not millions and millions of years.
All are welcome! All activities are free.
The final schedule of events will be posted on YourHub.com
the week of April 17.
