3 Days 50 Miles - The Journey of a Lifetime

Register now for the challenge of a lifetime and a weekend you will never forget! Join us August 21-23, 2009 in Fort Collins, CO for the fourth annual Wild West MS Walkabout in support of those who live with multiple sclerosis. This memorable event will raise funds to fight MS, increase public awareness and promote health and fitness. As a walker, you can make a life-changing journey and help bring us closer to a cure!

Last year's Walkabout raised over $80,000 to support the local research efforts and programs of the National MS Society, The Rocky Mountain MS Center, Colorado Chapter and to provide medical equipment and therapy services to people in need who live with MS through the Center for Neurorehabilitation Services (CNS) Foundation.

Our 100% guarantee is that the Walkabout will make for a very physical, emotional, uplifting, and memorable weekend. You'll laugh, you'll cry and you'll make new friends that will last forever. And most of all, you'll make a difference.

We'll support you every step of the way -- before, during and after the Walkabout. Your body will ache, your feet will hurt and you will be hot and tired. Just when you think you won't be able to take another step, someone will say "thank you." It might be a fellow walker who has MS, a volunteer, or someone alongside the trail who has a family member with MS. You will feel instantly recharged and know that you can make it!

Colorado has one of the highest prevalence rates of multiple sclerosis in the country. One in every 580 Coloradoans lives with MS. In fact, MS is ten times more prevalent in Colorado than it is in the South and the most commonly diagnosed neurological disease in adults ages 20-50.

Help support this cause by registering today to participate in this walk. For more information on registering to be a walker or how to volunteer, please visit our web site : www.wwmsw.org.
