ELVIS-the Last Concert

I was16 and had grown up listening to my Mom play Elvis. Well when I got the chance to see Elvis live I jumped at the chance. The year was 1978 and I had to earn enough money to go see the King Live in Market Square Arena in Indianapolis, Indiana. The cost of a nose bleed seat at the time was $25.oo. But boy O boy was it worth it. My friend Eric and his parents went . Of course his parents were in the 5th row center(with a hidden tape recorder). LOL. We were up so high we had binoculars just so we could see the King. His girlfriend at that time (Ginger Alden) and his father were both there and brought on stage. As the last song started to play Eric said come on lets go. He hurried me downstairs to the parking garage close to the stage doors. Elvis had already left the building, but as his limo drove off I got to reach out and actually touched his car. WOW what an experience!!!!!!!!!!!!! I still have my original ticket stub. That ended up being his last concert ever. That was the best Summer Concert Ever!!!!!!!!!
