You've come far, so celebrate!

Hubby and I have a tenth anniversary fast-approaching. It doesn't matter if it's a first anniversary or a 60th, they all deserve to be applauded.

We're going to ride the Rio Grande Scenic Railroad, on what they call the Highnote Express train, up to a little outdoor amphitheatre high in the Sangre de Cristo range of southern Colorado.

We'll buy grub at La Veta Pass, settle into our lawn chairs, inhale fresh mountain air and tap our feet as the music of America's number one selling cowboy singer, Michael Martin Murphey, bounces off the trees and resonates across the hills.

I expect to hear Fiddlin' Man, Cosmic Cowboy, Geronimo's Cadillac, What's Forever For, River of Time, and of course, Wildfire. It occurred to me, while planning the trip, that I love so much of his work, but don't have a single album. I'll bring a little souvenir money along, and take care of that.

When I return to work, sweet country sounds will echo in my head while I write grants, brochures and newsletters. I'll play new CDs for weeks.

Whether you have a brand new business, or celebrated your fiftieth year, your pride and enthusiasm are justified. Whether you look forward to fulfilling countless dreams, or reflect back on seeing them come true, you've worked very hard. You took this train to the top. The breathtaking views and the altitude-induced thrill of achievement makes it an exceedingly worthwhile adventure.

Congratulations! You've been extremely devoted, ignoring temptations that might lure others away to what seems simpler. That polished level of commitment is a quality that is awarded with success.

Don't you think it's time to celebrate? Be ready to toot your whistle boldly as you progress around curves and across bridges. Keep saying, "I know I can, I know I can..."

Please get in touch and tell me about your business. I want to help you celebrate!
