How did you get involved in this business?
I have always had the entrepreneur spirit. I also saw a great opportunity to bring girls in the west area of town, fun and functional choices of beautiful lingerie. With a full-service lingerie store located right here in the Golden area. This provides them with access to the foremost lingerie manufacturers from all over the world. This was, and is still my vision.
What distinguishes you from other businesses in your category?
Every piece of lingerie is hand selected. We understand the Colorado woman likes exquisite, sometimes sporty, carefree and great quality items that they love to layer. At Chelsea of London we know that great support can be comfortable and pretty. We also know that if bras are fitted properly our customers will enjoy wearing them and love to shop for more.
What do you like best about your line of work?
Hands down, wrapping the gifts. At Chelsea of London Lingerie, complimentary gift wrapping is our way to put the final touch on a well selected gift. During the holidays we take pride in assisting gentlemen with lingerie purchases that, shall we say, are well received.
What is your business' biggest challenge
At Chelsea of London we are always trying to anticipate this year's trends. Color choices and keeping up with the wide range of sizes. Our customers are constantly amazed with the evolution of the merchandise.
Something people might be surprised to learn about you or your business.
Some people may assume that they cannot afford a trendy boutique, but quite the contrary, we carry a large variety of merchandise and the same for the price range. It is possible to find a bra and panty in your size and your price. There are assorted delights for many different age groups. We are excited about our holiday dress selection and other fun items to delight women during this season. We're real girls too, with all the same fashion challenges; ie. Spanx for control, Prima Donna for full-busted clientele, Nubra solution for strapless and backless dresses. For every fashion challenge there is a foundation remedy.
