Colorado School of Mines - An evening in the park

It was a wonderful evening on April 19, when the Colorado School of Mines hosted An Evening in the Park at the CSM campus. Together with the Greater Golden Chamber of Commerce, local businesses, cultural organizations and great volunteers, the event was a success.

Food, fun and free! Families, students and visitors stopped by to enjoy the festivities. Commissioners, athletic directors and others from the NCAA arrived to find everyone enjoying the event.

Comments from many of the NCAA visitors included comments such as, "This is impressive." Golden sure is a nice town." "What a beautiful location."

Our arch on Washington Avenue says it all, "Howdy Folks, welcome to Golden"
