Jefferson County announces ballot drop-off locations
Drop-Off Locations Open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Election Day, Nov. 3, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
(JEFFERSON COUNTY) - Jefferson County voters who do not want to drop their 2009 election ballots off in the mail may choose to drop them off at any of 11 different locations throughout the county.

Ballot drop-off locations are open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Election Day, Nov. 3, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
"We understand that for some voters, it may be preferable or more convenient to drop their ballot off, rather than sending it through the mail, so we've partnered with our local city clerks to provide additional drop-off locations within the community that may be closer to home for voters," said Pam Anderson, Jefferson County Clerk and Recorder.
The deadline to drop-off voted ballots is 7 p.m. on Election Day. Ballots sent through the mail must be received by the Clerk and Recorder's office by the deadline. A postmark does not count as receipt.
