First-Class Stamp Required for Jeffco Ballots
Voters Who Would Prefer to Drop Their Ballots Off in Person May Do So at 11 Designated Drop-Off Sites throughout the County
(JEFFERSON COUNTY) - Jefferson County voters who would like to return their voted ballots by mail will need to use a first-class, 44-cent postage stamp.
"We have worked closely with the United States Postal Service to ensure that, in most cases, all you need is a regular postage stamp to get your ballot back to us via the U.S. Mail," said Pam Anderson, Jefferson County clerk and recorder.
Anderson noted that even ballots mailed with insufficient postage will be delivered and counted.
Voters who would prefer to drop their ballots off in person may do so at any of the 11 designated drop-off sites throughout Jefferson County.

Ballot drop-off locations are open Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Election Day, Nov. 3, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The deadline to drop off voted ballots is 7 p.m. on Election Day. Ballots sent through the mail must be received by the Clerk and Recorder's office by the deadline. A postmark does not count as receipt.
