It's been several months since I posted on YourHub.com and I miss it. I miss sharing Golden news and events, family stories, even entering the contests. Many of the town folks have asked me why they haven't seen photos or stories posted by me for awhile.
I guess people really do read and enjoy YourHub.com. Today a friend of mine informed me that a photo from last year's Golden Fine Arts Festival was published in YourHub.com and it was one of the photos I sent last year with a story.
Both incidents have made me realize that it is important to share the good news of Golden. So, I'm back and just to get everyone up to speed I'm going to share what a summer it has been.
Family first...that is what life is about for me.
Friends are right there with family. Both family and friends have kept me busy this summer. The highlight of the summer was the birth of two more grandbabies, one in May and one in July.
Now that we have five grandchildren, three in Littleton and two in Westminster, life is never boring. June was busy with a wonderful trip to Germany with two of my Golden friends, Judy and Tracy. I have also taken a part-time, seasonal position with the City of Golden.
My summer has been very busy but I am having the time of my life. I continue to capture the Golden memories through my photographs. When I say Golden memories I am not just referencing the town I live in. I turned 50 last year and these are my Golden memories.
Enjoy the photos.
