Art from the Heart benefit Aug. 25
Contributed by: West Chamber, Jefferson County on 8/15/2007

The Seniors' Resource annual Art from the Heart benefit will be held on Aug. 25 at the famous Sculptured House (aka Sleeper House) in Genesee. SRC welcomes any donations for the silent auction that will promote your business. We encourage creative bundles of products/services that will appeal to sponsors and donors who attend this unforgettable event.

The Emcee of the event will be Lynn Carey of CBS-4 TV, with the vocal talents of Wendy Fopeano, host, WUVO-FM Jazz 89. A limited number of guests will be able to reserve a helicopter tour of the mountains during this spectacular evening. Capacity is limited. Tickets are $150 or $225 for the pre-event wine tasting and home tour.

"To be able to showcase Seniors' Resource Center in such a picturesque setting, and raise funds to support the older adults of our region, is a dream come true. While this very special house is known to most Coloradans, very few people have actually been inside it. This year's Art from the Heart celebration will be memorable," said Bob Timm, Vice President of Development for SRC.

The Art from the Heart pre-event wine tasting begins at 4:30 p.m. with an exclusive reception for sponsors and patrons, featuring a private tour of The Sculptured House. The main benefit begins at 6 p.m. with hors d'oeuvres, an open bar and special live music. This year's theme, "A Golden Summer Evening," will also feature the soulful vocals of local jazz talent Wendy Fopeano.
