For Kids up to 12 years:
Meet the Recycled Sweater Monkey.
Coloring Contest during the Golden Fine Arts Festival.
You could win the Sweater Monkey!
Meet The Recycled Sweater Monkey,
a lovable and laughable fiber arts doll handcrafted from leftover sweater scraps.
KIDS!! Enter the coloring contest and you could win the Sweater Monkey.
The contest is full of great recycling tips you and your children can do together. Stop by Baby Doe's Clothing, at 1116 Washington Avenue near the Arch in downtown Golden. Satruday, August 16, 12:00 - 3:00. Pick up your coloring contest page and meet the creators from XOB of Boulder.
While you are visitng the Golden Fine Arts Festival, don't miss the Kids Art Zone sponsored by ArtReach of Denver. And remember, entrance to the Clear Creek History Park is free on August 16 and 17. What a chance to see artisans of yesteryear including making horseshoes, leather tooling, blacksmithing, lacemaking and more.
