Scouting Out the Scout Show
Contributed by: John Hall on 4/15/2008

The Western Stock Show Complex usually hosts animals of the four legged variety, but on Saturday, April 26, hawks and eagles will be in attendance. Hawkquest is just one of the many exciting booths at the Boy Scouts annual Scout Show.

Thousands of families will celebrate all that the Boy Scouts has to offer, learning through hands-on activities like archery and trout fishing, and games ranging from mini golf to bean bag tosses. The Scout Show offers something for every member of the family, whether involved in Scouting or not. For mom and dad, the Bonfils bloodmobile will be on-site taking donations, keeping in line with the Boy Scouts pledge to "do a good turn daily."

Scouting groups from around the Denver metro area plan fun activities for this event, and many local businesses host booths with food, drinks and items for sale. The Scout Show provides inexpensive entertainment for the whole family and is open to the public. Admission is just $5 for a family, and parking is free.
