Holiday stories at Clear Creek Books
Contributed by: Sharon Wheatley on 12/8/2008

Saturday, before the Olde Golden Christmas Parade, I became "Snowflake" and our grandson, Tyler, was "The Magical Polar Bear." Together, we read holiday stories to many children who came to Golden before the parade and visited us at Clear Creek Books. Books such as A Very Marley Christmas, and The Snowbelly Family of Chillyville Inn delighted kids young and old.

I was quite surprised at the participation this early in the morning, however, the parade followed and that was another reason to be in Historic Downtown Golden early in the morning.

Tyler and I had a great time reading stories, singing, and interacting with all of the children who came to Clear Creek Books for some Holiday Storytime.

Thanks to everyone who attended. The next Holiday Storytime at Clear Creek Books will be on Saturday, December 20, after the parade. Hope to see you there!
