Grauers in Golden go golden

Long time Golden residents, Richard and Nancy Grauer will be celebrating their "Golden" Wedding Anniversary on Aug. 2 with their family and friends. They were married in 1958 in North Carolina. They have lived in Kansas, Missouri and finally settled in Colorado.

Dick is a retired supervisor from AT&T. He is an active skier and a devoted long distance runner. He has recently completed his 68 th marathon. Nancy is a retired registered nurse of 47 years and is extremely active in the Golden community. She is involved with the Golden Family of Churches as a parish nurse and volunteers at Shelton Elementary in the kindergarten classroom. She teaches bible study, senior aerobics and is a member of Curves Fitness.

Dick and Nancy are active members of the First United Methodist Church of Golden. Both enjoy traveling, reading and attending their local grandkids school and sporting activities.

They have three grown children, Rick Grauer (Longmont, Colorado), Michael Grauer (Canyon, Texas) and Tami Harvey (Golden, Colorado).

Congratulations to Dick and Nancy for this wonderful achievement and awesome commitment to 50 years of marriage!
