On Monday, June 30, 2008, Tracy Brad Wright released his body from its three month struggle with melanoma.

Tracy was born in Fayetteville, Arkansas on March 1, 1958 to E. Bradford Wright and Janeice Minor Wright Kraemer of Crawford County, Arkansas. Tracy graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Arkansas Tech University, where he met and married Mary Leetta Cramer, the love of his life. After several moves across the southwest U.S., they settled in Golden, Colorado in 1981, raising their twins Sam and Molly, age 19. Tracy worked in the oil and gas industry for 30 years, starting out as a well logger and eventually owning his own exploration company.

Tracy will be remembered for his talent as an artist, painting spectacular western landscapes, for his kindness, quiet wisdom and most of all, his humor. He is missed and beloved by multitudes of friends and family. He is survived by Mary, his wife of 28 years, by his children Sam and Molly, his mother Jane, and his sisters Jennifer, Jo-Robin and Joy.

A memorial celebration is planned for noon on Sunday July 6 th at Boettcher Mansion atop Lookout Mountain just west of Denver.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Hospice of St. John's, 1320 Everett Ct., Lakewood, CO, 80215.
