12-year-old cellist featured on Moms' Day concert

The Evergreen Chamber Orchestra will present its annual Concert for Young Persons on Mothers' Day, May 11 at 2:00 p.m. at the Evergreen Lake House. Twelve-year-old cellist Kelcey Howell will be featured, playing melodies from the movie Schlindler's List, accompanied by ECO's Voice of the Wood cello quartet. The concert will be enjoyable by all ages, and will also feature the ever-popular Peter and the Wolf, with narration. as well as some fun activities for kiddos. Admission for all ages is $3.00.
