Storytime entertains at Clear Creek Books
Contributed by: YourHub.com on 6/18/2008

Tanya Shaffett is the resident storytime leader at Clear Creek Books in Golden.

According to owner, Craig Morgan, "She chooses which stories she's going to read and even comes in the day before to prepare."

On June 17 she read to a group of children that ranged in age from 2 to 6 years old.

A group came together from Wee Creekers in Coal Creek Canyon.

Saffett said one of her favorites to read is Dr. Seuss and on this day she chose Dr. Seuss's ABC's and Polar Bear What do you Hear? by Bill Martin and Eric Carle and Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle.

Morgan said storytimes are on Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m.

Clear Creek Books is at 1200 Washington Ave. in Golden
