BAR OWNER SAYS BANDS ARE OK AT 4
The owner of Susie's Bar and Grill at 17999 W. Colfax Ave. called police to request information about the city's noise ordinance. She said someone had complained the previous weekend about noise and she said she feels it's her right to have an outside band at 4 p.m. She said she didn't think she was violiating the ordiance and wanted to meet with police and the reporting party. The office advised her of the availability of Jefferson County mediation services.
NOISE DISTURBANCE UNFOUNDED
An officer checked and area near the 1300 block of Golden Circle. An anonymous caller reported hearing a woman welling, "Help me," but when four officers responded at 12:13 a.m. April 9, all was quiet.
NO ONE FOUND AT PARK
An officer went to Ulysses Park at 10:02 p.m. April 7 after a 6-year-old called to say his pareants were smoking marijuana. The officer checked the parking lots around the park and found six unoccupied cars. Nothing further was reported.
