Golden Police blotter: Woman reported missing


WOMAN SKIPS WORK, HOME
On May 3 at 4:41 p.m. an officer met with a 50-year-old man who said on May 2 at 6 a.m., his 49-year-old wife left for work from their residence on the 400 block of Chelan Street. The woman works during the day at an extended care facility in Englewood and at night at the Ameristar Casino in Black Hawk. On the evening of May 2 the man received a call from Ameristar saying his wife did not show up for work. The man said this was not like his wife, that she did not have a cell phone. and he had no idea where she was. The officer called the daughter, who works with her mother at the extended care facility. She said her mother was at work on May 2 and left at 5 p.m. She did not know where her mother was. A metro wide search was entered into the CCIC system. The officer called the daughter on May 5. She said her mother spent the night at the Hampton Inn in golden and the entry was removed from the CCIC system. No reason for her action was available.

MISHEARD WORD LEADS TO PUNCH
An officer went to the Buffalo Rose Saloon at 1119 Washington Ave on a report of a fight at 10:43 p.m. May 3. The 52-year-old doorman said two men were leaving the bar and one of them said something about a gay bar. The other man thought his friend was calling him gay and hauled off and hit him, before they both walked off got in a white Subaru together and left.

MEN DRUNK ON GOLF COURSE
On May 2 at 7:13 p.m. an officer responded to Fossil Trace Golf Club at 3050 Illinois St., where four men were walking north on the bike path carrying liquor. The men, who ranged in age from 22 to 24 years old, said they were partially intoxicated and had pulled up some stakes out of the ground and tipped over containers while they were walking. Fossil Trace employees reviewed the area and said there was no damage, but they wanted to pursue charges. All four men from Littleton were given summonses for disorderly conduct.

COUPLE GIVEN LEWD BEHAVIOR TICKET
An officer on patrol at 3:45 p.m. May 3 near the Coors Tech area on Table Mountain Parkway noticed a brown van in the Kong building parking lot occupied by a man and woman. Since it was a Saturday it was unusual for anyone to be in the area. As the officer pulled up to the vehicle, the woman's head appeared from the man's lap and she abruptly put on her seatbelt. The couple was given a warning for inappropriate lewd behavior.

WOMAN SEEKS HELP FOR BLEACH IN EYE
An officer was dispatched to Clear Creek Commons at 1027 Washington Ave. to help an elderly woman who had bleach in her eyes and didn't know what to do. The officer went to the woman's room. He observed redness in the woman's eye, but she was all right otherwise. Dispatch connected her to poison control and they told her to take a shower for 20 minutes to wash it out.
