Golden Police Blotter

DIAMOND RING MISSING FROM STORE
On Aug. 7 at 3:45 p.m., an officer spoke by phone with the owner of the Eclecic Dekken Ant at 18301 W. Colfax Ave.. The owner said she was missing a $375 men's diamond cluster ring and did not know who took it, but she thought it was a customer. She said she last saw the ring on Aug. 5. She wanted the incident documented and the officer asked her to provide a drawing of the ring along with any other identifying information.

PACKAGE RAISES QUESTION
An officer contacted a resident on the 1900 block of Foothills Drive after she called to report a suspicious package. The woman showed the officer a box from the Literary Guild that had an address on the 1900 block of Sage Drive on it, an address that did not exist, even though when the officer went online, he found the company to be legitimate. The officer determined there was nothing suspicious about the package and told the woman to leave the package for the Post Office to return to the sender.
