TV STOLEN FROM TABLE MOUNTAIN INN
On Aug. 28 an officer spoke to the general manager of the Table Mountain Inn, the 1310 block of Washington Ave. who said a 26-inch Westinghouse TV was stole on Aug. 16. He said the TV was in the storage closet near a covered parking lot. The manager said he had recently fired three people and informed the officer there was a camera in the parking area, but upon review when a vehicle came into view on the camera at 1 p.m. Aug. 16, he could see an employee walk to the area of the storage closet, but the car was parked where it couldn't be seen on the tape. When asked if he wanted to pursue charges, the manager said, "No, I just want it documented in case things start happening around here."
OFFICER HELPS WOMAN FIND CAR
On Aug. 28, an officer was dispatched to the Wells Fargo Bank, 1301 Jackson St., and spoke to a 58-year-old woman who said she couldn't find her 1998 Toyota Prius. She said she parked near 13 th and Jackson streets. The officer drove her around the area to look for the vehicle. They spotted it at 13 th Street.
PURSE STOLEN FROM GOLDEN RE CENTER
On Aug. 28 at 7:20 p.m., an officer spoke to a 64-yer-old woman at the police department lobby, 911 10 St. She said at 3 p.m. she went to the Golden Community Center, 1470 10th St., and had $21 in her purse, which she put into a locker in the women's locker room. Without locking the locker, when she returned, all the contents of her purse were missing. She looked around the building but didn't find any thing. She said she had no idea when someone may have taken the purse.
