WHEELS, TIRES REPORTED STOLEN
On Aug. 24 an officer responded to Christopher Dodge, 16655 W. Colfax Ave., Golden in reference to a theft. The lot manager said he noticed the wheels and tires had been removed from an employee's vehicle at 7 a.m. He said the truck had been parked in rear lot for two months. The owner of the truck said the estimated value of the wheels and tires was $350 for each wheels and $150 for each tire.
SHOPLIFTERS CHARGED
On Aug. 20 at 12:41 a/m. several individuals were given summonses to appear in court on a shoplifting charge from King Soopers at 17171 S. Golden Road, Golden.
They ranged in age from 18 to 24. A 20 year-old also was given summonses for possession of drug paraphernalia and trying to purchase alcohol.
STUDENTS GIVEN WARNING
On Aug. 23 at 11:15 p.m., an officer was dispatched to the Armory Building, 1301 Arapahoe St. A complaint was made about individuals in the courtyard talking loudly. The officer contacted five students, who were standing in the courtyard drinking alcohol. They were given a verbal warning and advised not to leave the premise with alcohol.
