Man arrested for shoplifting
A 54-yearold man was arrested by the Golden Police on a shoplifting charge Sept. 15 at 2:45 p.m. at the King Soopers in Golden, 17171 S. Golden Road. He was ordered to appear in court Oct. 8.

Man busted for drug paraphernalia
A 21-year-old man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia on Sept. 11 at 11:57 p.m. in the area of 24 th Street and Jackson Street in Golden. He was ordered to appear in court on Oct. 24.

Man taken to jail on traffic offense warrant
On Sept. 15 at 3:25 p.m., a Golden Police officer contacted a 43-year-old man and took him into custody on a warrant arrest for a traffic offense. He was transported to the Jefferson County Jail.

Laptop, camera stolen from apartment
On Sept. 6 at 9 a.m., a Golden Policeofficer went to the 17790 block of West 14 th Avenue in Golden on a possible burglary. The officer spoke to the alleged victim, a 25-year old woman, who said things were stolen from her apartment while she was sleeping. She said after she and her boyfriend returned from vacation they went to sleep in the bedroom and when they woke up the following morning she noticed a cell phone, camera, lap top computer and credit card had been taken from the living room. She had no suspect information.
