Wildlife alert, be cautious

Foothills Park & Recreation District reminds you that it is the season for wildlife activity in your local parks. Be aware of your surroundings. Coyotes and rattle snakes are active at this time of year, particularly at Easton Regional Park. Do not wander into native areas that are not mowed. Make your presence known with lots of noise. If you are confronted by wildlife, stay calm, back away slowly, and leave the area. Report any coyote activity to Jefferson County Animal Control.
