A chance to win a Harley and help the Lions Club

Been dreaming about getting a Harley! Well, there is still a chance to possibly fulfill your dream at a great price. The Golden Lions Club is conducting a fundraiser for their Community Betterment Fund by holding their second annual motorcycle raffle, this year for a 2009 Harley Davidson Fat Boy Deluxe Motorcycle. The bike also has a custom paint job by Gunslinger. Only 300 tickets will be sold at only $100 each and they are going fast. Less than a hundred are left and it always picks up as the raffle date approaches, so don't miss out on this "good odds" raffle for a great prize. The Golden Lions Club will pay the sales tax for the winner. That will save the winner about $1400. How many other raffles will do that for you? And, you need not be present to win!

You can take a look at your dream motorcycle at the historic Buffalo Rose, 1119 Washington Avenue in downtown Golden, and that's where the winning ticket will be drawn at 6PM on November 27, 2009. You need not be present to win and to buy your ticket, email GoldenLionsClubHarley@yahoo.com or call Lion Ed Dorsey at 303-829-5195, who will arrange to get a ticket to you.. For more pictures and information, visit www.goldenlionsclub.org.

The Golden Lions Club has used its Community Betterment funds for many City projects over the years, including Lions Park, the Lions Ball Fields, public restrooms, park pavilions, the Ulysses Park core building, picnic shelter roof replacement at Grampsas Park, gazebos in neighborhood parks, trail clean-ups, repairs and improvements to Clear Creek History Park, and financial support to the Golden Visitors Center, the Golden Fire Department and many other Golden non-profits.

Here's your chance to donate to a worthwhile organization and also get the chance to win a great motorcycle. With the holidays coming soon after the drawing, it also makes a nice gift.
