Deadline to register for special election is March 24

Voter registration for April 22 special municipal election

Voters in the April 22 special election are registered electors who live within Ward Four. For those who are not already registered to vote, the deadline to register is March 24.

Voter registration forms are available at the Jefferson County Elections Office, the Golden City Clerk's Office, and the Driver's License Offices. Registration forms are alsoonline at http://www.co.jefferson.co.us/elections/elections_T101_R7.htm

If your Jefferson county voter registration is active and you live within Ward Four in Golden, further registration is not necessary. If you are not sure about the statuts of your registration contact Jefferson County at the number below. To check whether or not you are registered to vote, call Jefferson County Elections Department at 303-271-8111.

Registered voters who have moved since the last election must complete a change of address form by March 24.Changes of address may be done at the City Clerk's Office, 911 10th Street, Golden or by using the registration form above.

You must reside within the city limits of the City of Golden and be registered at your current address You must register 29 days prior to the election

If your Jefferson county voter registration is current and you live within the city limits of Golden, further registration is not necessary.
