Rolling Hills Foundation awards $100,000 to Golden Rotary's foundation

The Board of Directors of Rolling Hills Country Club Foundation (RHCCF) recently awarded $100,000 to the Golden Rotary Foundation as its share of this year's annual fundraising events sponsored by RHCCF.

Two June events, a gala (themed "A Universe of Sharing") and a golf tournament, were held to benefit Golden Rotary's foundation. These events represented the tenth year that the Rolling Hills foundation has sponsored fundraisers to benefit local charities. RHCCF has donated more than $1,000,000 to local charities as a result of these fundraising activities.

The Golden Rotary Foundation exists to support the activities of the Rotary Club of Golden. Proceeds from the RHCCF award will be used accordingly, primarily in support of programs providing weekend food to needy school kids, a monthly luncheon program for needy seniors, scholarships for high school students, and other quality of life projects, all in the Golden area."
