New staff at Jeffco Action Center

Jeffco Action Center is happy to announce that Pam McPhee has joined the staff as the new Director of Operations.

Pam is not new to the Action Center. She has volunteered in a variety of capacities from working at the Beautiful Junk sale to helping sort food drive donations. Pam most recently worked as a contract employee at Cigna, a global health service company, on one of their operations teams. Prior to that she worked for Lipper, Inc., the leading global provider of fund intelligence. She started as their Manager of Data Entry and when she left ten years later, she was the Head of North American Data.

"I'm hoping to blend my years of experience in operations in the corporate world with the Action Center's efforts to help the community," Pam said. "The skills I gained working at Cigna and Lipper were invaluable and I'm now looking forward to using them to help others."

Jeffco Action Center is also proud to announce that Jule Hahn is one of the new Health Navigators.

During her 2 ½ years volunteering at the client desk, Jule Hahn always dreamed of working at the Action Center. With her more than 30 years of nursing experience, she was especially interested in the Action Center's health programs. So when the position of a part-time Nurse (now "Health Navigator") came open, she jumped at the chance and submitted her resume. Realizing it was a perfect fit, the Programs team brought her on immediately.

Jule now works with fellow Health Navigator Kelley Keyes, educating clients about health related issues and giving them referrals to other agencies and programs.

"I always enjoyed the direct interaction with clients I had at the front desk, but I'm even happier that I can now use my nursing experience to help clients with specific health issues and questions," Jule said.

In her spare time Jule enjoys gardening and traveling, especially to visit her daughter in Chicago and her son in New York.
