Leopard print purse stolen, later found in trash can. A 46-year-old woman who was moving into a new apartment on the 1118 block of 10th Street in Golden said while she was moving items from the garage on Oct. 16 she noticed her purse missing. She said the purse had credit cards, diamond earrings a necklace and $200 in cash. The purse was later found in a trash can in Lions Park, minus the $200.

Disturbance at tire store. On Oct. 16 a Golden Police officer was dispatched to the Peerless Tire Store on 17204 So. Golden Road in Golden. The manager said a process server who had come to serve an employee became aggressive and he was asked to leave. He left only after the manager called police. He was told not to return to the tire store or he would be arrested for trespassing.

Man arrested on third-degree assault warrant. On Oct. 17 Golden Police officers went to the 800 block of Second Street in Golden when a woman called out of concern for her daughter who told her, "Meth people were coming to get her." Officers checked and found a man at the residence who had a warrant for his arrest on third-degree assault. He was arrested and jailed.

Motorcycle stolen. On Oct. 18 a 33-year-old man told Golden Police his 2002 Honda motorcycle was stolen from a covered, reserved parking place on the 17760 block of West 14th Avenue in Golden. The man said the ignition was locked.

Man arrested for drugs and possession. A 33-year-old man was arrested on an active warrant out of Wheat Ridge for dangerous drugs and possession of a weapon on Oct. 16.
