The District
Attorney's Communities Against Senior Exploitation (CASE) program helps prevent seniors and others from becoming victims of fraud.
Originally developed as a program for seniors, CASE is now offered to people of all ages as well as financial institutions and other businesses. Through no- cost Power Against Fraud Seminars, Monthly Fraud Alerts and a Fraud Hotline the District Attorney's Office is trying to stop identity theft before it happens.
District Attorney Scott Storey says, "We are working with the community to fight identity theft from a prevention approach, through our CASE program, and through aggressive prosecution by our Economic Crime Unit. We will hold identity thieves accountable while sending a message that this will not be tolerated in Jefferson County."
The District Attorney's Office is hosting a free Power Against Fraud Seminar at their office, 500 Jefferson County Parkway, Golden,on February 28, from 9:00-11:30
