On Tuesday, June 16th and Saturday, June 20th, come join
Richard Gardner and the
Golden Landmarks Association as we celebrate Golden's 150th birthday with a Golden Photo Album of images from throughout our history!
This album put together to show on screen for this event features lots of Golden images from throughout all 150 years of Golden's history, drawn from many different sources and showing people, places, institutions, events, and more. We start out with the story of how Golden was founded, which took place exactly 150 years ago on these very days, then give an overview of how Golden has grown and changed, and show special subjects, tell stories from 150 years ago, and a finale montage of fun things from throughout Golden time. The show will have surprises folks will not expect, and I hope will be a treat for everyone wanting to celebrate Golden's grand birthday. Our event is free and open to the general public both days, so come on in and have fun!
