"Horse Sense" series continues this fall
The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office Animal Control Section will co-host a series of evening classes this fall geared toward horse owners. Local horse experts will share their insights on a variety of topics, including trail etiquette, poisonous weeds and parasites.
This marks the second year for the horse sense seminar series. The series came about when local animal groups recognized a need for affordable adult education classes on horse care.
The seminars are a collaborative effort by the Jefferson County Animal Control office and the Jefferson County Horse Council.
