Cub Scouts visit YourHub.com
Contributed by: Erin Williams/YourHub.com on 11/15/2006

Cub Scouts from Den No. 10, Pack 48 from Golden traveled all the way to downtown Denver to tour the offices of YourHub.com.

The troop arrived around 5 p.m. on Nov. 8 excited and ready to learn about the newspaper. Their theme for the month of November is communication. What better way to learn about communication than visit a newspaper office?

The scouts learned that anyone can post stories and photos of anything they want to share on YourHub.com. They had their picture taken and watched community assistant, Erin Williams, upload the picture and post a story as part of a demonstration to show the scouts how easy it is to use the Web site and post their news.

After a tour of the YourHub.com newsroom, the scouts enjoyed a snack in the News Agency's cafe on the 10th floor. They also caught up on some YourHub.com reading.
