The LOST event in Golden on May 1, 2008, was a success! The Ladies Only Sample Tour brought out ladies from Golden and the surrounding areas, some as far as Aurora and Littleton for a night of ladies only fun!
From 4 - 7 pm the downtown Golden streets were filled with lady samplers and shoppers. The snow earlier in the day did not dampen the spirits of about 300 ladies running up and down Washington Avenue and down the side streets. They were here to have fun and, boy, did they.
I was on the Avenue all afternoon and evening enjoying the event. There were ladies sitting in Higher Grounds Coffee Shop about an hour before the event started. They were there to map out their course to ensure they visited all of the participating merchants.
I met a group from Evergreen, call the Wandering Wives. They usually gather for volksmarching but found sampling in Golden to be just as much fun.
Sampling, Shopping, Ladies Night Out! Everyone had a great time. We are already being asked about next year's event. Stay tuned!
