Escaped the 4 H's and the D-Rays
Contributed by: Michael Souder on 7/15/2007

My wife and several friends of ours have moved to the Denver area from the Tampa, Florida area in the past year. Our friends Steve Pedder, Mike and Lisa Malick, and the Malicks' 3 children have escaped the 4 dreaded H's of Florida (Heat, Hurricanes, Humidity, and Home Insurance) for the mountains and incredible weather of Colorado.

In Florida, my wife and I lived 5 miles down the road from where the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. We attended lots of games, includingmany with our friends mentioned above, and although we always had a good time the baseball atmosphere thereis quite sorry.

The dome is a sterile place to watch a game, and in the team's best attended games, Devil Rays fans are always outnumbered by fans of the other team. Onebig sidebenefit of moving to Colorado is a gorgeous outdoorbaseball stadium wherethe crowd supports the home team.

We would like the suite, along with our 6 friends from Florida and 4 good friends we have made out here, in order to be able to take in a game at Coors Field with some of our best friends. After attending so many games together at dull Tropicana field, we would love to get together to watch a game at a first class baseball stadium.
