Reader finds city council unprofessional
Contributed by: Lynne Carrol on 3/24/2008

As a citizen of Golden and an interested observer, I attended city council meeting March 6 ----to witness the decorum of individuals, the council members and the mayor, enacting assault against the one member willing to assert personal responsibility in service to the citizens of Golden with an obvious agenda intending to hold Golden City Government accountable for its malfeasance of conduct, a misuse of power and an assumption of rule of authority unchecked, unscrutinized by citizens and finally unjustifible within the structure of law ----- the Constitution of the United States of America.

I find suspect the righteous indignation of council members and mayor actually attempting to discredit Mary Weaver by way of innuendo, insult and clearly unprofessional behavior - not worthy of the office of City Council Golden Colorado.
