Hamilton runner of the week

Hamiltonnameed Runner of the Week April 4
GOLDEN, Colo. - Colorado School of Mines track runner Joel Hamilton was named this week's Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Runner of the Week, as announced today by the RMAC office.

Hamilton earns these honors after his 11th place finish in the men's 5,000 meter run at the Stanford Invitational this past weekend. Hamilton's time of 14:09.38 also earned him an automatic national qualifying mark for the 2008 Division II Outdoor National Championships.

The CSM men's and women's track & field teams will be in action this weekend, April 11-12 at two different meets. Some will compete at the Chico State Invitational in California while others will take part in the University of Colorado Invitational in Boulder.
