Ex-Seattleite lovin Broncos, ol'friends eat salmon
Contributed by: Roger Singer on 1/20/2006

I moved here from Seattle last summer. While I miss the Emerald City, I became immediatley attached to this great state, the Rocky Mountains and of course the Denver Broncos. My friends in Seattle have all laid down bets with me on who is going to make it to the Super Bowl, their division champs or ours. My allegiances are here in Denver obviously, so I've taken on all friendly wagers tossed my way from grey, rainy brain-soaked Seattleites.

I'm orginally from Cincinnati. When I saw Carson Palmer get knocked out early in the game, the old venom against the team Cincy always loves to hate came right back. I want to see Pittsburgh go down hard.

I was lucky enough to see last week's victory over the Patriots from inside Invesco Field. Now I want to continue with Jake's Odyssey and cheer on a team that can't and won't stop until victory in Detroit.

Help me be there to see our Broncos win against Pittsburgh and make those Seattle friends eat Crow, or I guess eat Salmon in their case. Help me avenge Cincinnati. Help me see the new 2006 AFC champs live in action!
