"This group of players will really help us to continue building on the success we enjoyed in 2008."
With 20 wins in 2008, CSM established the third-highest single-season number of victories in program history. The Orediggers' berth as the #5 seed in the 2008 RMAC Baseball Tournament marked the first time that CSM had qualified for post-season play since the 1999 RMAC Baseball Tournament. Additionally, Mines' 11-4 upset win over #2 seed Metro State in the opening round of the 2008 RMAC Baseball Tournament marked the first post-season victory for the CSM baseball program since the 1994 campaign.
