Colorado School of Mines freshman pitcher

a complete game, two hitter to lead CSM to a 5-1 victory over
UC-Colorado Springs in the second game of Saturday's Rocky Mountain
Athletic Conference doubleheader at CSM Field.
UCCS (26-5, 15-5 RMAC) won the opener, 4-0, as it scored four

Janine Ota's three-run triple.
In game two, the Orediggers raced out to a 3-0 lead after three
innings and the Mountain Lions did not threaten as Kocman struck
out five. Redshirt freshman second baseman
Peanut Eickelman (Pueblo, Colo./Pueblo East)
went 3-for-4 with a run and an RBI in the second game, while
sophomore shortstop
Melissa Stratton (Aurora, Colo./Smoky Hill) and

each drove in two runs.
Amanda Ritchie improved to 15-1 this season as
she won the opener with a complete game shutout. She allowed eight
hits and fanned seven.
The two teams will conclude their four-game series with another
doubleheader on Saturday. First pitch is slated for 11:00 am at CSM
