Golden High School Wrestling Invitational

Golden High School's annual wresting invitational is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 6, at 8 a.m. and the finals are scheduled for 5 p.m. The tournament will be held at the Colorado School of Mines Field House located at 19 S. Illinois Street in Downtown Golden. Sixteen teams will wrestle in dual team format on eight wrestling mats.


Several teams from around Colorado will compete. Sixteen teams will be wrestling in pools of four to determine the final team champion. Some of the competing teams will be traveling from Montrose and Glenwood Springs from the western slope as well as the defending 3A State Champion, Roosevelt. Some of the local teams include our host, Golden, Jefferson, Dakota Ridge, Wheat Ridge and Ralston Valley. The finals are scheduled for 5:00 p.m. and concession stands will be available throughout the day including hamburgers and hot dogs for your enjoyment.


Please come out, have some lunch and support Golden Demon Wrestling as well as our other competitors and watch high school wrestling at its best.
