The 12th Annual Colorado Men’s Open Gymnastics Meet was held at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs on February 24th and 25th. Male gymnasts of ages 5-18 from Colorado, New Mexico, Wyoming, Utah and Montana competed at this year’s meet. Colorado’s Joshua Grauke finished first all-around in the Class 10, 14-15 year old age group. Joshua competed in all six men’s events capturing the gold on floor, still rings and high bar and the silver on vault.
Joshua and his teammates from 5280 Gymnastics, Anton Gryshayev, Jessie Castro, and Chris Browning, won first place in the Class 10, 14-15 year old team competition. The boys train under the elite tutelage of the former Russian Olympic gymnast, Vladimir Artemev, at 10601 W. 44th Avenue in Wheat Ridge. Joshua has won first all-around at the Colorado Open in his age group three (3) out of the last four (4) years.
