Mount Vernon Country Club has just named
Radka Lacjak Head Tennis Pro for the2009 tennis season. Radka was formerlywith Alpine VistaTennis Club in Evergreen.
She will be directing the Junior competitive tennis program, adult drills, group and private lessons, as well as clinics and leagues
. Lili Bell Shelton has been with Mount Vernon Country Club for 17 years and will remain the Director of Tennis.
Radka is returning to Mount Vernon Country Club after a 3 year absence. Tennis has been a passion of Radka's since age 5 when she was ranked number 3 nationally in the Czech National Junior Tennis Program. She is also Evergreen High School's Head Tennis Coach, and the school's boys assistant coach.
Mount Vernon Country Club's tennis season opens in May. There are 3 clay tennis courts and 3 hard courts. Indoor tennis practices for all levels are beginning the week of March 9at the former Alpine Vista in Evergreen. Mount Vernon Country Club offers a a fun weekly tenniscalendar includinga free adult beginner program, Tuesday Men's Nights, Mixed Doubles BBQ's, Ladies Nights, extensive Junior Program for ages 7 - 13 and a competitive team for ages 9 - 18. Half day summer fun tennis camps with pool are also available.
