The U-13 Colorado Ice White Girls soccer team is traveling to Europe this summer to participate in the
Tivoli Cup. This soccer tournament will be held in Copenhagen, Denmark from July 6 - 11, and hosts teams from all over Europe. What an exciting opportunity for this homegrown Golden team of 7th graders that have recently advanced to the Premier 1 level in Colorado Youth Soccer! Before the tournament begins in Denmark, the Ice White team will be training with German coaches for 5 days in a small town outside of Munich. Each afternoon will be open to take in the sights of Bavaria - visiting castles, museums and gardens. Although soccer is the emphasis of the trip, the girls will be interacting with local German kids, and will have ample time to be just tourists. It should be a rich and rewarding experience, as well as lots of fun! These girls are all about having fun! Just ask their coach, Aaron Rizzuto, who has coached them since 5th grade.
The team has worked diligently since last September to fundraise for the trip, including opening a concession stand at the Rooney Soccer Fields for most home games, Babysitting Nights Out, and an upcoming Super Soccer Sleepover held at the Golden Goal Sports Complex. The public is invited to come to their
GIGANTIC GOLDEN GOAL GARAGE SALE on Sunday, May 3, from 7am - 3pm. Fifteen+ families will be selling their wares at the Golden Goal indoor soccer complex on 2650 Alkire Street, in an enthusiastic effort to help fund the girls' travel expenses.
Please come out in support of the Colorado Ice White Team!!
