i9 Sports Youth Flag Football leagues are now forming in Lakewood and Broomfield for boys and girls ages 6 to 14. Play will begin on Sept. 9 and run through Nov. 5. Convenient registration is now available both by phone and online, with an early bird $10 discount available through Aug. 25. More information can be obtained at www.i9sports.com
Games will be played on Saturday mornings at Legacy High School, near 136th Avenue and Lowell in Broomfield, and on Sunday afternoons at Creighton Middle School, on Kipling, just south of 6th Avenue.
i9 Sports is redefining youth sports across the nation. i9 Sports believes that sports should be a fun, safe experience where children can learn basic athletic skills and sportsmanship, build friendships, and increase their self-esteem. With the emphasis on fun, instruction, and inclusiveness, everyone plays and everyone is made to feel like a winner, regardless of their talent level.Individualized attention and encouragement are provided to each player. All coaches are certified and background-checked, and there are trained officials at each game.
i9 Sports understands that parents' busy schedules requires a program that is well organized, convenient, and fits evenly within their family's plans so that their child's sport activity doesn't consume their life. Practices are conducted on game days to minimize the time parents need to spend driving to and from activities. That'll also save you money at the gas pump! Schedules, standings, statistics, and other communications are available 24x7 online.
Another favorite feature for parents is that there is absolutely NO FUNDRAISING! No cookie dough sales, magazine subscriptions, etc. How nice is that?! The program fee includes everything: a jersey, flag belt, team photo, post-season event and awards, sportsmanship medals, and more.
i9 Sports was founded in 1996, and conducted their first leagues in Jefferson and Broomfield Counties this Spring. To sign up your child or for more information, please call 303-462-1520 or go to
