The sidelines have been packed for the first four weekends of the i9 Sports Flag Football Leagues. Families and friends have been braving sometimes cold and windy conditions as they cheer on the young athletes, who have provided lots of exciting action to watch.
The players are learning the value of teamwork as they support each other during wins and losses. We've seen lots of high fives flying just as much as spiral passes. It is amazing to see the improvement over the first several weeks. As one parent said, "They don't even look like the same team!" The teams have been improving week to week as they perfect new plays, skills, and perform awesome defensive plays.
Congrats to all of the teams for their mid-season successes, whether it was winning a tough game or reaching a team record of completed passes.Good luck in the second half of the season!
