yay! another blog to keep updated! woot woot!

i can do it. :)

i've always felt that writing was a sense of urge for me. either i do it or i don't... but i should. i usually feel much better after a good rant about something bothering me, the nice thing about a blog is that i get nonjudgmental comments, suggestions, or advice back... after all, you can't judge me- my life, my family, etc... if you don't know me...

right now i bet you have no idea if craig or tonee is writing this... you probably don't care either.

it's tonee. :)

lets get some substance here.... are everyone's homes intact? because after monday night... i'm surprised. i have never in all my time in the denver area or in colorado growing up, experienced a storm quite like that. my poor sister was flying out to phoenix monday evening and she was truly scared... can't say i don't blame her. driving to dia the short 7 miles was a nightmare, the lightning was so close and low, so bright and active. normally i would be all for grabbing my camera and running out to the fields to catch some pics, but not that night... i was worried about the wait my sister and 8 month old niece would endure at dia waiting for their flight to depart... her flight was due to leave at 947pm... she didn't board until 20 after midnight :( and then didn't arrive back to phoenix until 230am the following morning... however safe! mad kudos to the dia pros!

my sister and i are close. we're closer then ever before and it was breath of fresh air to see her here in my hometown after nearly a year of not seeing her at all. my first glimpse of my niece as they came up from the train at the airport was just breathtaking. having two children of my own, tho boys... this little girl- her eyes, her personality and spirit, much like our fathers, amelie (amie)is just amazing.

i had forgotten what it was like to have a baby... for them to need to take naps, and consistent eating times, diapers, and the lugging of luggage around everywhere you go. my 2007 accord was stuffed with car seats and my own boys had their moments of difficulty fastening their belts. but we managed. :) i have to admit, while shopping on monday i soaked in quite a bit of baby fever, and it most likely will not be disintegrating any time soon... poor craig!

mother's day we waited for an hour and a half at the cracker barrel for a table... but it's my favorite. actually i could have been satisfied with denny's even, i love love love going out for breakfast.

next trip will be to nucla, hopefully for my friends year-late engagement party. then down again for a longtime friends wedding... can't be in it if i'm shooting it ;)

i leave you with our session with the cutest baby ever (except my own lol)... look for them on www.shot-studio.com soon!
