Blog Entry 1 of 66 The Write Words
I hope to write about anything and everything that comes into my mind, as long as it is in good taste. I hope to communicate effectively and stimulate thought and conversation. I can't wait to get started!

Finally, A Bit of Justice Served in O.J. Case
Contributed by: Erin Di Paolo   on 11/20/2006

A few days ago I posted a story at yourhub.com about the recent buzz regarding O.J. Simpson and his new book, If I Did It. I stated toward the end of the story that I hoped the book would fall flat on its face and that I felt it was an outrage that O.J. would be appearing on national television in a two-part interview on November 28 and 30.

Imagine my pleasant surprise today as I opened a breaking news email stating that the television show is cancelled and the book is being pulled, even before its November 30 release date! If I could have jumped for joy over the news, I would have (I was at work at the time).

All I can say is that justice has been served in this specific instance. I am proud of my fellow Americans, especially advertisers, who refused to buy into the O.J. money-making machine. Enough is enough already. O.J. needs to go away, once and for all.

The good news for him is that now he will have plenty of time on his hands to do what he said he was going to do years ago: spend all his energy and resources seeking out the real killer.
