Colorado Avs group tickets to benefit Morning Star
Contributed by: Julie Patterson on 3/7/2008

The Colorado Avalanche is hosting two group ticket nights in March to benefit the City of Aurora's Morning Star Adult Day Program, which provides care services during the day for adults 55 and older with cognitive and physical challenges.

Discounted tickets are available for $25 for the 7:30 p.m. March 24 game against the Calgary Flames and the 7 p.m. March 26 game against the Vancouver Canucks at the Pepsi Center in Denver. Each ticket holder will have a chance to win a penalty box experience, a Zamboni ride and a Joe Sakic autographed NHL hockey puck.

A portion of all ticket sales will be donated to support the Morning Star Adult Day Program.

To order tickets, visit www.pepsicenter.com/KSEForms/Avalanche/MorningStar or contact Jason Schofield at 303-405-6182 or jschofield@pepsicenter.com. If ordering by phone or e-mail, be sure to mention Morning Star when placing the order.

Morning Star Adult Day Program at Lowry Intergenerational Center, a service of the City of Aurora Library, Recreation & Cultural Services Department, is located at 1016 Boston St in historic Lowry Building 880. The program helps keep families keep adult loved ones at home and in the community, potentially preventing or postponing placement in a nursing home. For more information, call 303-326-8320 or visit auroragov.org/morningstar.
